Wrap Warning Page

Warning: The compression wrap was not intended to be a splint or a brace. It was designed to hold PED-Med’s reusable compresses in place. It should be used to assist with immobilization only and not to be used while walking, driving or when using machinery of any kind. Always rest injured area in a pain free position. It is important for the customer to be aware of the instructions for proper use of any product purchased from PED-Med. The length of time a compression wrap should be used alone or in combination with cold or hot/cold therapy should be advised by your medical provider if you need to use it for longer than 48 to 72 hours. For your safety please read the instructions supplied with the product.

Caution:

Proper use and supervision is required while using our products. Some of the hook and loop closures are small. Please keep the parts away from babies and small children as they can easily be swallowed.

Remove the compression wrap and talk to your healthcare professional if there is increased

swelling or pain, numbness, tingling, or a dramatic change in color or temperature at or around the injured site.

Do not over tighten any wrap.

Do not use this product if you have poor circulation unless under direct supervision of a physician

Do not use this product while sleeping.
