Wrap Instruction Page

Use: Our PED-Med Compression Wrap Therapy Line is made from a lightweight, durable, soft knit foam fabric that stretches and conforms to most injured or painful areas using gentle pressure. It was designed to be used with hook and loop closures that attach to the fabric to assist you by securing the wrap in the position you want (wherever it’s most supportive to immobilize the injured area). Before applying any wrap, always check your skin. It should be clean, dry, and free of any open areas or drainage. Remove all rings, ankle bracelets or any other jewelry that is on an area to be treated. It will be more difficult to remove the jewelry if swelling develops. Position the wrap under or over the area being treated with the PED-Med label facing down on the inside of the wrap. Attach the hook and loop closures to the ends of the fabric and secure firmly in position.

Care: The reusable wrap should always be stored, when not in use, in the zip lock bag provided. This will prevent the wrap from getting dirty. The soft foam knit fabric is machine washable and dryer safe. Please remember to remove all hook and loop closures before washing and drying, as they will adhere to other items.
